  • Canoe and Kayak rentals: available locally. Information regarding hire costs is available upon request.

  • Wind Karting: with a good mixture of wind and long sandy coves, this sport is an ideal way fore speed freak beach lovers to spend an afternoon.

  • Swimming Pools: an indoor pool at Châteauneuf-du-Faou and an aqua park at Quimper complete with swiming pool, wave pool with toboggan, saunas, whirlpool, paddling pool and café.

  • Water sports: Brittany has a reputation as a water sports haven for which there are many schools that cater to surfing, windsurfing, and sand-karting.

  • Golf: there are three excellent courses within a 45-minutes drive from your residence, i.e. the Brest Iroise which offers views of the Monts d'Arrée and bay of Brest. It is just over 6,000 yards with a par of 71 for 18 holes. The l'Odet has lots of obstacles, a river and small lake. It is just under 7,000 yards and is a par 72 for 18 holes. The Quimper-Cornouaille overlooks the bay of La Forêt-Fouesnant. It is just over 6,000 yards and is rated a par 71 for 18 holes.
