Perch Fishing on St Michel Reservoir (Lac du Brennilis)

How many tough fishing days have been saved by this beautiful and avid predator. This aggressive fish is an untralight anglers dream. There is a large head of perch in St Michel reservoir which readily take bait, lures, and flies. With a large reservoir to explore either by shore fishing, wading, or boat fishing, you may not even bump into another angler on any particular day. Also, don't be surprised if you catch a specimen rainbow trout too!

Perch Fishing on the Nantes to Brest Canal (Aulne river section)

Sam suggests that anglers focus on fishing the weir pools below the locks, connecting stream mouths, deep holes and areas with good bank-side vegetation. Perch readily take spinners, small soft lures and swimming hard lures. Many good perch perch are also caught just before dusk as these fish try to greedily snatch their last meal of the day.
