Bag of beautiful Aulne River Roach

Glorious Gudgeon from the Aulne

Coarse fishing on the river Aulne (Nantes to Brest canal section) and on St Michel reservoir (only 25 minutes north on the D36 by car) is a very relaxed affair and is also right at your finger tips when you stay at our cottage, especially the river, with two private river access points behind your cottage garden.

You need not venture very far to fill your keep net as our waterways are full of roach, roach-bream hybrids, and bleak. Other species you will make contact include: rudd, perch, zander, gudgeon, and blageon (a beautiful local fish with red fin bases), not to mention the odd jack pike.
