Meet the Kings

We arrived in France at the end of 2003 after spending most of there lives living in the Portsmouth area of England before moving to Staffordshire via California.. (It's a long story!!)

Ted (the bloke!) has spent nearly all his working life involved with motorcycles and motorcycle racing as a technician. He has worked with World Superbike, British Superbike, the American AMA Superbike as well as the Isle of Man TT and Endurance racing.

As an ex-racer himself, he still gets occasional phone calls summoning him away to work for a few days at some circuit or another.

The only other passion that has shared his life (apart from the missus..!) has been his love of fishing in all its forms; fly, beach casting, spinning are all actively pursued in between periods of work and restoration of the family house.

Dee (the wife, mum, household utensil technician, household medical officer, etc etc ) used to work as a Manageress in the Debenhams department store in Southsea before the arrival of her daughter and subsequent transfer to the role of mum. With her arrival in France, she has now found time to discover the pleasures of gardening, baking and walking the family dogs.

Krisha (studious daughter) now attends the college in Guingamp where she studies with an eye to progressing upwards and onwards to university. She spends most of her time with her nose in various books trying to keep pace with the 'mountains*' of homework that she brings home every day (*Her own definition).

The hounds, Alaskan Malamute Huskies:

Tasha, the old lady, born hungry and will no doubt meet her maker in the same frame of mind. Loves to have her tummy rubbed.

Nanuq, the blithering idiot--walks backwards wagging his head.
