I was rec"Recently, I was fortunate enough to spend some time in Brittany in the expert hands of Dr. Sam Davis, casting instructor extraordinaire!

I’ve been fly-fishing for a good few years now but, unbeknownst to me, I had clearly picked up some sloppy habits, making my casting cumbersome and inefficient – and not at all pretty!

Sam took me right back to the basics and, through a brief series of simple guided steps, he has opened my eyes to how simple a good cast can be if you remember some basic principles, and work on them.

I would recommend anyone who has the opportunity to spend a little time with this maestro, as the tuition is not only extremely beneficial to one’s casting and fishing generally, it’s also a lot of fun."
